I hope this is real easy, but I can't seen to figure out how to unsubscribe from a thread?

One would think so, but I don't get that unnotify button.

I've posted on this thread:

and requested notification, but I don't get the button you show.  Just the 'notify' button.  :-//

Every time I check in, I see there's a post to that thread and it shows up in my "show new replies to your post" link.

Ah. Apparently that's a feature.

You're looking for the "ignore topics" mod which was installed recently.

Dave posted instructions for enabling it the other day, but I can't find them now, sorry.

something like:
profile > modify profile > look & layout > show quick moderation as checkboxes
then
you should see checkboxes and an ignore topic button on the right on the replies screen you refer to.
