Title: What are the chances these are YAGEO and muRata
Post by: Back2Volts on November 06, 2016, 03:27:06 pm
I am looking at these two 0603 resistors and MLCC capacitor kits.   I like the binders and would be nice if they were known brand/specs.    The pictures show labels with YAGEO and muRata.   Is this believable ?    I have sent a question to the seller about the resistor set, no answer yet.

I am not quite sure what do you expect people to tell you. Anyone can make a sticker saying "Murata" or "Yageo" and put it on an item. You won't see whether it is genuine from how the cut tape of SMD resistors looks ...

Moreover, how do you know that what is in the photo is what you will actually get? eBay/AliExpress/Alibaba/... sellers are known to use "illustrative" images in some cases that have little to do with the actual item being sold.

If you have doubts (or need real Murata/Yageo parts), buy from an official distributor and not from eBay, it is that simple.
