what diode to use 7

cool thanks i need to polarity protect my phone  battery car charger  a its no jumper leads if i get get it round wrong way it kills it .. .i need to know the best diode to use and how it where to place it .. thanks

I miss Afrotechmods his videos were always easy to understand and well made.

Use a Schottky diode. It will drop more voltage, than a MOSFET, but is much easier to use. I'd recommend the 1N5820/1N5821/1N5822, simply because they're cheap.
