Title: What footprint and connector might this be?
Post by: brandon.arnold on June 23, 2024, 06:31:22 pm
Hi all!

Can anyone suggest what kind of connector would have been used in these two unpopulated footprints? I'm assuming it is a connector because it is not labeled with any IC identifier like all other ICs. It isn't labeled with any "CN" identifier like other connectors, for that matter, but I presume this was a production/development convenience for debugging purposes.

Year of manufacture: 1995-1999
Dimensions of entire footprint, including pins: 29mm x 12mm
Pin length: 90 mils
Pin width: 18 mils
Distance between the center of two adjacent pins: 32 mils

Search for "0.8mm 70 pin mezzanine SMT"

Thanks, @amyk. Good selection to compare from here on Mouser, I will look around.
