What is the best magazine for getting in to PCBs
(1/1)
Filand:
Hi all

What is the best magazine to get in to PCBs?

Searching the web I have found these:
Elector - https://www.elektormagazine.com/
Nuts and Volts - https://www.nutsvolts.com/
Circuit Cellar https://circuitcellar.com/
Make - https://makezine.com/
IEEE Spectrum - https://spectrum.ieee.org/

Who would you recommend for a person that is just getting started (bought a Arduino starter kit, "Electronic Devices - Conventional Current Version" book and a multimeter)? And which do you prefer and why?

Thanks!
DTJ:
I'd say all of the ones you'd mentioned.

Perhaps not get every issue but flick between them until you find one you like enough to subscribe. Some like circuit cellar may be too advanced but they often have a wide range of articles. CC seem to have the most interesting adverts.

Maybe look at this one:  https://diyodemag.com/

Thanks! Thats a pretty good idea. Will go down to my local magazine shop and see what they got!

You may find it cheaper to buy the digital version online & download it.
