what is this '1n760' diode?
« on: December 29, 2019, 04:40:40 pm »
so I am trying to make a modernized, and cheaper version schematic of the 'dual rectifier' amplifier. but I can't seem to find anything about this 1n760 diode in the shematic, also what is the value of that resistor that has '22?' next to it? I am not sure cause it has another value next to it.

also, those caps are 4 10000uF caps by my understanding, yes!?

Judging by the voltages, that should be a 4.5V Zener. References to 1N760 that I could find on the internet are to a Germanium diode. 1N761-1N769 are zeners, so the type number might be wrong on the schematic.

also what is the value of that resistor that has '22?' next to it? I am not sure cause it has another value next to it.

Someone seems to not have been happy with the original 39 ohms value and annotated a different value? Dunno :-//

Correct.

It's actually a 1N750, the schematic isn't very clear but you can see the flat top of the five.  The 1N750 is a 4.7v, 500mW zener so the voltages marked on the schematic are approximate.

Ha, well spotted! :-+
