I have been looking for a while to find out what this symbol is but I cannot seem to find this exact symbol used anywhere else. Does anyone know?

I think that inductors with lines above them indicate a specific core? I'm not quite TOO sure what type of core that's referring to. I assume ferrite or iron?

It's an inductor with an iron core, rather than an air core.
