What's next for Rigol after the 1054Z?
« on: September 26, 2016, 02:03:50 pm »
I know scopes aren't like phones that keep being updated every year but companies like Rigol seem to put out new stuff quite regularly.
After the success of the 1054Z I wonder what's next? Is there maybe something new one the way soon in the same price range? I'm not sure how long they waited between releasing the 1052 and the 1054.

I know the company isn't going to tell everyone what they're working on but I'm just wondering what more knowledgeable people on the forum think?

Rough guess: about six years between the 1052 and the 1054. Unless the competition starts to do better for less money and it starts losing Rigol customers, I don't think we'll see a new version soon.
