The first is called "solid core". The second is "stranded".

The first is very useful for breadboards and perfboard prototyping because it's more "rigid" and can be easily bent in 90° or any angle. really useful to keep it tidy.

I expect its strength to be inferior to the stranded one (because bending it too many times could break the core inside, but don't quote me on this.

The stranded wire is more flexible and I think more resistent

This smells an awful lot like a homework assignment to me...

What exactly is driving your interest in these wires? What  are you trying to accomplish?

I'm trying to fix my 2ds
https://www.eevblog.com/forum/repair/can-you-fix-a-very-small-pad-on-a-pcb/msg2303469/#msg2303469

from this video I found out I don't need to fix the pads, I just need some wires

I searched for wires and found different types
so here I am wanting to know what's the difference between them so I can decide which one to use

You should be able to use solid core or stranded wires. It will be mostly up to your own preference.

I prefer solid core due to how easy it is to bend it in the shapes you need.

Stranded will be just as good and I'd guess that's what wiring they'd use when it was first built. Since the wires will not be subject to bending and additional stress, you probably don't need the extra resilience of stranded. You won't be bending the solid core enough to break.

For the kind of repair you're trying to do, solid core will be the better choice. In a pretty small wire size.

But you'll also need a soldering iron, solder, and some practice using it before you attempt repairs on something you care about.

Stranded is much better if the wires will move, bend, or flex in service.  However, you must be careful lest any stray strands work free from the bundle and touch something else.  It is also required for crimped connections.
Solid is great for holding its bent shape, so long as the wire stays stationary.
