Found this in a usb button type wall wart charger. It was for the rpi 3b+
This is what i see.
8-pin dip/soic
BS183C
FA79-5742
I attached an image.
Usually i find most parts on google with the code. This is one of those exceptions.
Any idea? Thanks in advance.

From context it's a switching regulator. But that's all I can tell you.

PWM switch with built in MOSFET if it drives transformer directly or PWM controller if there is a separate MOSFET on other side. Unless you need to replace it, it's a waste of time searching for such parts.
