PCF8574 libraries ?

I'm using an stm8s003f3p6 with a lcd1602(with PCF8574 interface board attached) .

I'm using st visual develop and cosmic c compiler and st link v2.

Any idea where to get a library to communicate with the PCF8574?

I have code to connect to the GPIO pins on the LCD directly and I have code if using an Arduino and PCF8574.

But I need code for the stm8s003f3p6 and PCF8574?

One way is to directly search on github. You will probably finds tens of different libraries for chips like that, and hundredths or thousands of forks.

Another way is to install PlatformIO. PlatformIO has a built in system to search for and install libraries.
