Where to buy genuine RG400 with BNC?
« on: November 11, 2019, 06:28:15 am »
Hi I know that it may be fairly easy to assemble coaxial but I prefer professional made cable, that I know works right when it's for measurements I can rely upon.
I do also know that ebay, aliexpress and other sells a lot from China, but it sounds like a gambling to buy from these shops, have seen RG58 with only a single thin thread (maybe 30 AWG) and also seen cable where it turned out to be some cheap TV coaxial cable, sold as high end cables.

I have looked at DigiKey and Mouser but I could not find RG400 with straight BNC male in both ends.
Where do you buy from to be sure of quality?
Even if I appear online is it not necessary so, my computer is on 24/7 even if I am not on.

I can recommend a couple of specialty cable assemblers in Australia but that might not help you so much.  If you check with whoever the major antenna manufacturers are in your country they will be able to either supply what you need or point you in the direction. Here in Australia I use either QLD cables and connectors or rfshop.com.au.  RFI will make custom cables but probably not in small batches.
