which free / low cost EDA / Spice software
« on: December 22, 2019, 11:07:57 pm »
I am hoping folks can point me in a good direction.

I'm looking to model up a BJT audio amplifier and see what instabilities exist under varying reactive loads and see how circuit changes effect stability.

looking for something free or low cost to do this on that has a reasonable number of models available.  I don;t mind a little learning curve.

this simulation will be purely analog
Hobbyist and a retired engineer and possibly a test equipment addict, though, searching for the equipment to test for that.

Tina-Ti is TI's alternative offering. A little less powerful than LTSpice, but some folks find it easier to drive.
