... and knows where to get the datasheet
the diode is called DECIA7 it appears to have a forward voltage of about twice as much as a normal silicon-type diode has (~1300mV)
i looked it up on bing, google, and some obsolete datasheet search sites and found nothing only a russian forum that mentions it.
but not even by looking it up on yandex.ru (ie. the russian google equivalent) i found something.

someone says diode same type as 1N4007. 1000V, 1A.

this is the russian forum i mentioned and the 1n4007 is definitely not the same diode because decia7 comes in a way smaller formfactor than the 1n4001 and the 1n4007 is the bigger brother that is rated for higher power if i remember that right
i should propably provide a comparison picture of the 1n4000 series diodes and my one
give me second to do this

this is a comparison of 1n4001 vs 1n4002 vs 1n4148 vs decia4 vs decia7
you see the decia diodes are ~½ the size of the 1n4000 series diodes so they cant be identical
cant compare to 1n4007 because i dont have one but they will be the same size as the 4001 anyway
by the looks of it these decia diodes seem not to be able to dissipate the power at 1a or 1kv

The form factor isn't usually an issue as long as the characteristics are the same or within an acceptable range. Many different components have been discontinued because more common ones fall within the same operating range.

That half-size DO-41 package is from Japan; Sanyo and Toshiba make "DO-41SS" package, On-Semi got the Sanyo line.
i.e. Toshiba S5688G 400V 1A rectifier
