« on: January 09, 2012, 09:46:46 pm »
For 5 years radiator was not switched and when finally switched, it flips RCB (or CBP). This is all information i have for the moment.

What can cause this?

Does it have a earth pin? If it's very dusty inside there could be leakage current from hot to earth, which would trip a RCD (but not a current trip breaker).

If it is sharing a neutral with another circuit, it can cause a trip.
