Hello guys in two reaction theory of salient pole alternator when a lagging power factor load is connected to the armature, why the stator magnetomotive force Fs a.k.a MMF lags behind Ia(stator armature current) by angle 90 degrees??.
As
MMF = Curremt X number of turns in stator coil.
So MMF should be in phase with armature current.
