The label "resistor" must be a mistake.
15 uH at 2 A is a reasonable value for an inductor, and would help filter brush-commutation noise to reduce radiated and conducted EMI through the power feed.
If it were a mistake for 15\$\Omega\$, that would be a physically large resistor that would be rated for > 60 W.
In Europe, the rectangle is often used for resistor, but in North America, it is usually symbolized as a zig-zag, which is a better metaphor for a resistance.
In both areas, an inductor is usually symbolized as a set of loops.
