Wondering how to prevent this washer launcher from failing

Hi, I have this circuit, it's basically an electromagnet which discharges capacitors into a coil. Works with high voltage.

The 25w/25Ohm resistor keeps failing and disconnecting. What kind of resistor should I use so that it doesn't fail?

Also, I run it at 1 pulse every 20 seconds. The coil runs cool.

If you don't have the knowledge to work this one out yourself you shouldn't be playing with such dangerous circuitry. You should take the time to learn some basic electrical theory and maybe then you will realise how much risk you are taking.

You also don't seem to have taken any notice of the safety advice offered in the response to your previous post regarding this circuit.
