Hello, the datsheet for xl4015 shows that it's input is up to "Wide 8V to 36V Input Voltage Range" http://www.xlsemi.com/datasheet/xl4015%20datasheet.pdf I would like to use 27V PSU for this. Currently it is used with 18V PSU, my questions is simple - will it heat more due to higher voltage input of 27V? |
| Jacon:
Nope - just look at the Figure 6 in your datasheet - the more voltage you apply, the better efficiency you get, which means not much more heat generated :-+ |

Thank for reply. Do you know answer to this question regarding XL4015 and XL4016? https://www.eevblog.com/forum/projects/xlsemi-xl4016e1-drop-in-replacement-for-4015/msg1875983/#msg1875983 |
