I herewith would like to formally, officially and publicly apologize for the uncalled-for remarks I made yesterday. The words I used, far outweighed the message I was attempting to convey.

To Dave especially, and anyone else on the forum I have offended - I am truly sorry. I am Australian and I did not mean to come across in a racist manner. That was absolutely not my intention.

I try not to comment on this stuff but...

I'm sorry you do not like his blog, I'm even more sorry you cannot just you know... stop watching instead of making a deal of it.

If Dave wants to use Youtube as his primary job and he can afford it, and as long as he is putting out good content, why shouldn't you pay for the content, i know the issue here is that he is not putting out good content (or so you say.)

Some of the stuff Dave covered i had to pay for a $700 class to learn. You cant tell me that it is not worth giving him a couple bucks for, or at least buying things off amazon (though the link he has posted)

I will give you this: some of the videos he posts are quite long and boring at times, sorry Dave but everyone has them from time to time, but in general i think his videos are good quality and are interesting (that is just me speaking for myself)

So people like you, should just go away, you are not being constructive and you honestly make you look like a dickhead.... btw who uses that word anymore, i haven't since i was 10...

I feel honored to be a part of Dave's forum. Brilliant minds around the world read and contribute. I feel offended and repulsed by the language and tone of this man.  Constructive criticism is ok, but show some class you clown. Does it occur to you that your employer could read this or that Dave can revoke your membership?  I was recently reading that the number 1 desired trait an employer looks for is people skills even over technical ability.  Please improve yours. I just read your apology, after I typed this, and I accept, but I will post anyway for your edification.  With that said, geeks, including myself, are not always known for their social skills, but it is our duty to develop them.

I'm still a little confused as to who would bitch about a 00:1:38 long post. If you think you have a novel and useful solution to a simple problem, I feel like under-two-minutes is definitely an acceptable amount of time to explain it. Heaven forbid a viewer should waste a full 20 seconds (!) watching before they decide that they don't care about how you picked your parts bin up without spilling stuff.

I mean, shit, I just spent easily twice that amount of time on this post!

I agree on that , and there is an good explanation ,
If you decide to follow the technology , its an solo sport ,
you using all your time to practice and investigate solutions and answers.
This path cuts you down from social activities , friends , out door activities, and you end up as an single bird with an mysterious character.
Well I prefer to sacrifice this and that , so to be devoted in what I do and love more.

Well from the videos, looks like Dave had found an better balance, than me ( multiple ways to spent his time ) .

Either way , its totally crazy , some one to blame some one else that his is not a " perfect " person .
If there is an perfect person on earth I have not see him yet .

Ok then, just get in the list of my friends.

The first Australian that I had called as friend , was some one who had come and work in Greece with his wife,
and actually we was work together for six months , in the same company.
He had only one problem , he liked to do surfing , and most waters in Australia other than waves they have and sharks too..  :D

The second Australian that I had called as friend is Dave ,
he helped me , by contacting the right people about an problem that I had.
And the problem solved.

About you , it looks that you have an positive sense of humor,
something that I need badly right now ..  ;)

Just my way of dealing with the impending doom that we both are facing. We are the like the two men playing cards in the story War Of The Worlds.
