Can you do a lab tour Dave?
« on: November 13, 2013, 12:34:41 pm »
Hi Dave we see you in your lab all the time but we have never seen a tour of the new eevblog lab. So I was wondering if you can do a lab tour?

He has done a tour, not sure which video, perhaps it was on one of the live shows. I would like to know what happened to the garage lab since he moved out. Has he reclaimed the space, or does he keep it as a secret lab?

Dave has mentioned the lab is a mess.  I heard he has 72 virgins from utopia land on order to get the place all cleaned up, then a new tour video to follow shortly after.

Yes, the lab is a complete mess, and my new component cabinet is not organised, nor are my tubs of stuff.
I'd have to get all that in order before I did any video, otherwise it's just pretty silly.
I might need to do that next week because I've got this crazy idea of having a party at the lab for my 555th video...

Sounds like you need one of these for that episode...

Maybe put your feet up on one of these for part of the video:

And for refreshments:

speaking of lab Dave's lab, I noticed the 3457 is no longer sitting on top of the EDC voltage ref... Did you get rid of it?

No. I probably moved it to put something else up there to use the EDC with.

unless we put a a electromagnet on the floor and ceiling of the room making the two positive or negative poles face each other and make the bga from Ferris material and it will float or be pushed to the side so we can put magnets on the walls to. Now we have an extremely over complicated table but it has no legs like a normal bga chip. :-DD
