Clockboy fraud
« on: September 24, 2015, 03:55:05 pm »
When clock boy's story broke, I, like everyone else, assumed he built a digital clock to show his teacher.
I was looking forward to seeing if it was an Arduino, or something else.
I figured it would have a breadboard, a microprocessor, and a nice little LCD screen.
Like mine.

I really wanted to see how clever he was.

You know, wiring it up, debugging the code, finally getting a working LCD clock.
How well we know.

When I saw the picture of it, I saw a Radio Shack clock taken apart and put into a box.

Now, this turd gets an invitation to attend MIT, a visit to the White House, a Facebook and Google butt kissing, and all kinds of praise.

He is an asshole who built a fake bomb timer.

It runs on 110. How could it "accidentally" go off in class?
His family will not let the school release their side of the story.
He is represented by CAIR.
He won't explain what happened in the classroom.
His father is a Muslim Activist.
His sister was suspended for a bomb threat a few years ago.

What a stupid news media we have.
Disgusting.
And, Dave, you really fell for it, didn't you? Seems we all wanted to believe he was an innocent tinkerer. He is anything but that.
Please stop treating this creep like some kind of electronics hero.

I think you dont get it right.

Everyone can see that its not whole self made.

Good reaction:
*Nice bought clock. Bring a complete self made clock the next time.

*Are you nuts? Mount the transfomator properly and insulate everything propperly.

Bad reaction:
*Call the cops and arrest the boy

Do you see the difference?
Its not about the clock selfmade or bought.
Its about the reaction of the teacher and bigot reaction of some selfclaimed specialist.
The Simpsons quotation is really good: "Somebody please think of the children!"

You see the media only exist to make money and know what people want to hear. This has been well debated i beleive and we don't need to go over it again. I think the youtube videos showing how the clock was made in a minute say it all.
