I don't want to jump the gun by posting links to stuff that you plan to cover in the next couple of EEVacadamy  videos in this topic so what  about a resource topic or wiki page for posting links to accompany these videos (and others of your videos that cover digital systems design issues)?

Example 1: Possible with 1/2 of 4001 quad NOR.
Example 2: Possible with one 4011 quad NAND.

That whole circuit could be replaced with just one XOR gate.
