Dave; that Polish tuner is kind of interesting. Did you see how many radio bands it tuned?

As for the speaker connector, it's a standard European DIN connector

Longwave and all. What are the other 2 bands?

Yes standard 2 pin DIN speaker plug, Grundig etc.

PS.. You should have used the 9V Version of the Batterizer on that dead 9V battery. :-DD

I think they were both shortwave bands.  Europeans tended to use more bands for their broadcasting with frequencies like 6 MHz providing massive signals to the whole continent from just one transmitter.  However they also seemed to be abandoning them quicker, starting with longwave, then shortwave, MW and even analogue FM.
If you're into amateur radio you might enjoy my books. Choice of 7. Electronic or paperback. Details here: http://home.alphalink.com.au/~parkerp/vk3yebooks.htm

Funny thing, bolt io. Com product might be violating new pravicy rules of India.
That is, if it uploads your location to the web.
Seeing that clip made me feel like Dave was on a.gov.in website.
Pretty bad
