Post by: GlennSprigg on October 12, 2017, 01:08:54 pm
Hi Dave. Re: that cheap Component Tester....
You said this model is the 'M328', which is really just the 'LCR-T4' ........
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/192221844035 (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/192221844035)    (Around $8)
Since then, there is a MUCH better one !!  called the 'GM328A'........
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/192036743969 (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/192036743969)    (Around $12)
It will detect all those MOSFETS etc etc and much more !!!!!
Glad you are still reviewing these 'O.H.L.'  brands for us who are Budget-Challenged :-)?
P.S.   They NOW call it the "Combo Tester" to differentiate it from the predecessors! )
Keep up the great work Dave. I actually designed an unusual 'Op-Amp' cct from scratch today,
without even 'looking' at any/your instructions, and it worked, (in 'Circuit-Wizard' at least !!).
(Intermixing 'Digital' & 'Linear' components, in a way they are prob not meant to !!!  :-) )
