Hey, around 27min into the video he mentions making a probe out of regular coax. ( https://youtu.be/OiAmER1OJh4?t=1602 )

Does anyone know if a video describing how to build one that has proper termination and when it is useful?

Well he did use one in the RuiDeng review video, but that ended up causing the followup to fix it and add a termination.

It can be useful if you need a cheap high bandwidth probe: http://jahonen.kapsi.fi/Electronics/DIY%201k%20probe/
Or for low signal levels at reasonable bandwidth (mV's).

Otherwise I just use a 1X switchable probe, which limits bandwidth to ~10MHz.
