Yaseri from dhgate said multiple times that he does not have stock and can't ship the meter, yet mid October provided a tracking number that appears to be fake, same as many others. Deadline for delivery expired yesterday, response from Yaseri is that the package is lost, how convenient.  Selection on dhgate to file a dispute is absolutely ridiculous . Under item not received there is an option "Package is still on its way" or "package was intercepted by customs". Invalid tracking number can not be selected as "its still in transit and telling me to be patient". I don't really care about this meter, I jumped on the bandwagon for same reason as many others. But this whole thing highlights how corrupt the buying experience can be through these Chinese channels.

Same here .................. from tonehiny (who is also yaseri) showing as in transit although he has no stock, so dispute is delayed. I've just messaged to ask what has been sent

Yaseri/tonehiny/bida openly admitted to me that they didn't ship my item despite there being a tracking number. They then later retracted that statement. I have to wait until the 15th unfortunately to dispute it. The full transcript is here for anyone who wants a laugh https://pastebin.com/RMXEP9sh

Waka Waka life Store have sent me the following:
Quote
dear
sorry to make you wait so long, we just got the information from the logistics company and your parcel was lost, maybe there is something wrong with your address or other reason we don't know .Even though,we still apologize for that.we want to resend, but we have no stock now ,how about we refund you ?
refund:do you have PayPal account to get the money?
OR you can choose other items from us ,ok?"
pls close the dispute
have a nice day
Of course I've rejected their "offer" and will be leaving negative feedback

Well, I finally got home from my travels to see the meter that I DID receive. I won't have time to properly test it for a while, but what I immediately notice is that the AIMOmeter branding has NOT been scraped or removed in any way like it was in Dave's video. It looks factory fresh.

Among other priority tasks after being away from home for an entire month, I also have to go buy AAA batteries. So no testing. But here's a picture:

Cozy Life feedback rating is currently under 93% and that is before all the problems they will have with this meter. They delayed the meter delivery problems by using fake tracking numbers. We will see if AliExpress finally gets sick of it.

I'm curious how many disputes Cozy Life has over this Process Meter.  Mine has been sitting for a few weeks now without aliexpress doing much.

I just had mine settled yesterday after I uploaded a screenshot of MyCozyLife messaging me to ask me to re-file a dispute and claim that I was mistaken in ordering it.

Refund from AliExpress followed an hour later, then I left negative feedback (which apparently takes 30 days to appear on the sellers feedback profile)

I'm in the same path, filed dispute, and provided the print screen of the chat with the shop that asking to refund through PayPal, and informed AliExpress that I don't have Paypal and also its not nice to by-pass AliExpress system, as I mentioned its not safe for buyer, especially in dispute with seller.

Currently waiting for the timer due, for AliExpress to chime in into the dispute.

Actually I do have Paypal, but for AliExpress orders, I used a CC that specifically opened for online shopping to minimize risk, as this particular CC issuer bank, diligently beeps me thru SMS at every transaction no matter how small it is, and has a decent currencies exchange rate too.  :P

AliExpress stepped in, and I guess AliExpress Case Management Team are seeing this pattern alot.

Dear xxxxx,

The dispute (order id: xxxxx ) has been closed today and we have made a mediation. You can log in to <http:xxxxx> to check the details.

After checking, the tracking information shows "shipment cancelled" or "no records" , which means that seller didn't shipped the goods within required time.

In this case, your payment is expected to return to your credit card, please be patient to your bank statements. If you still want to get the goods, we warmly suggest you can contact seller and get a good solution.

Complaints from buyer - shipping abnormal
Judgement from AE - Valid
Invalid Reason - NA

Package Information
ePacket    LOxxxxx05CN shipping abnormal

Final resolution: full refund <full amount I paid>

Reminder: Normally buyer will receive the refund in 3-20 business days.

Please spare a few minutes to provide feedback on the service I have provided. We strive on improving our performance consistently, and feedback ratings help us evaluate our performance further.

Thank you for your cooperation and support, and hope you have a great experience shopping with AliExpress. Your understanding and cooperation will be appreciated.

Aliexpress stepped in for me too, and now has proposed full refund, so MyCozyLife is getting one more well deserved pock mark.

Will there be a Patreon relief thing set up for donations
to assist the 'hurt' sellers  :( :'( through these unforeseen tragic events?

If everyone contributes 9 dollar each, that puts lots of maccas, tacos and souvs on the table
to feed these serial BS vending tossers

Yes? No? Maybe..  :-//

or beep the beeping beeps, let them burn in beeping ****  ?  >:D

I've also had AliExpress step in and found in my favour.  Now just waiting for the refund.

Interestingly, once I had formally refused the Seller's proposal, there was no further contact.  The timer ran down without a whimper.

<snipped>
.......
-HAHAHA Lifestyle Store:
Dear friend,
We have been informed by the logistics company that your package has been returned by the shipping company
We are sorry to tell you that our provider informed us
The products ....<snipped>
Well, it won't be like that. Whether or not you return the money, I always win.
Because I was honest and you were not.
maybe, for you, Honesty, doesn't go along with business, ... for me, it does.
best regards.

Ali Express jump in and, since the fake EMS tracking number says that the package was delivered,
they consider my dispute invalid unless I PRESENT A PROOF OF DELIVERY. WHAAAAT?
this is insane. They send a package, and they claim the proof of delivery? Shouldn't be they who must demonstrate the delivery?

EMS has no representation in Spain, no phone, no email to contact them. they only give a P.O Box in Switzerland.
The spanish mail "Correos España" say they don't recognize the tracking number, they have nothing in their database.

I have lost 68€.

If there is some one related to Ali express here,... i think you have to be very ashamed.

this is a big B.S., what can i do now?

There's email and phone as well.

Ask them to issue *signed* document (scan .pdf and email you, save local copy) that states exactly that. It is The Proof that you did not receive package.

If you did pay with credit card, consult your bank/card operator.

Banks can normally claw back debit card payments as well. This is something the bank should cover if Aliexpress won't.

Aliexpress sent me the following as a resolution along with a refund:

Looks like they aren't buying the fake tracking number they issued me

Only 10 days until I can dispute my DHGate order. That one should be more fun due to DHGate's T&Cs implying I'm entitled to $30 for a fake tracking number

No.
the EMS phone number and email provided by you, (copied from the EMS page) are from CORREOS ESPAÑA, not from EMS.
EMS seems to be a platform only.

I will try that pdf signed by CORREOS ESPAÑA.

Thank you for your support.
Dennis.

Yes indeed. EMS is cooperative, not corporation. CORREOS is correct contact. If in doubt, you would want to read following:

No way.
CORREOS ESPAÑA told me that the track number provider is only valid for EMS platform.
If they has sent the package the code must be a long number starting with letters "PK"... I have nobody that can give me that number

well this is B.B.S.
Thank you .

Manbo Life Store = 0
Me =1
Dispute in my favor.  Refund processed.  Negative feedback left.

Well that was fun.

The question is, will I learn anything and stop jumping on EEVBlog "deals" with everyone else......
Gotta say that was more work than it was worth (or even would have been worth if I had actually got one of these crappy meters) dealing with all this.

You can challenge the dispute resolution. There should be a link somewhere in the dispute page, worth a shot.

Maybe they have to ship negative feedback on a container ship as well...

I recently tried buying something from AliExpress and my VISA would not take the charge no matter how many times I tried, even after calling and verifying the flagged transaction as not fraud. I guess they know something I don't know (AMEX card took it, though).

 ;D

and chances are good if those pesky water pirates (seller's new son in law) jack that container ship too,
the seller won't get 'hurt' after all this

and move on to flogging 9 dollar pink process meetre,
the new 'Solly No Stock Mk11 Model'  :palm:

Seriously though: 30 days can get in a lot of suss trading before other unaware buyers get to make a choice as to whether that seller is worth a punt  :-//

Not good  :--
