I think back to what that sort of video handling would have looked like when I started getting serious about electronics in the 70's and 80's ... and what it would cost.
This is just impressive, to say the least.

As mentioned in YT comments, centrifugal/radial fans can only operate "outwards". Running them in reverse won't change air direction.
Interesting comparison though. So now the question is do those massive editing desks have 10 FPGAs inside? Or at some point do they move up to a larger device.
