My favorite DMM. I like the Low Voltage Ohms measurement.

Manufactured by Escort in Taiwan. Now this factory is owned by Keysight for their handheld DMMs.

I was told that Tektronix used APPA, also in Taiwan, for manufacturing these multimeters.

I think you are right. That jogged my memory and I now reall being told this way back.
