I found some cheaper portable molecular heaters    These ones really will de ice your house or car at least once if used indoors.

Technically, a scam, but I feel like for something to qualify as a scam, it should be capable of duping people with IQ higher than μ-5σ.

A detail Dave missed. The second vendor secured themselves against unhappy customers. They clearly indicated⁽¹⁾ working range to be -80 °C to -20 °C.

The smell thing is not a scam. These are car aroma dispensers with fancy look. Honest sellers are not pretending to be otherwise. See eBay item 394981209695 as an example. One puts an aroma source in the base and the rotating part acts as a decoration.
