Tomlov is the same (re)brand these 30 to 50-dollar screen-with-scopecam units.
like DM5 & DM9
Your 4K unit there with your stand is around 190$ on their Aliexpress store + VAT so hopefully nobody is taking the plunge on their mocked-up site-prices, as some of these models are double the price, versus what they cost on Aliexpress https://www.aliexpress.com/w/wholesale-tomlov.html?
but for hobbyists, its often a better fit than fx Tagarno which is quite an expensive Danish product, that seems to emphasize on being made regionally in Denmark which makes things quite expensive, and they seem more optimized for industry clientele.

so kudos for digging down into Aliexpress alternatives, and how well it performs, as some of these el-cheapo ones from China can be useful, as long as you take their specs with a pinch of salt..
- tons of rebranding https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007439409707.html?
Got one of those, convenient form factor..
One thing with these Chinese microscopes' is the resolution claims, which often ain't refering to the sensor, but an upscaled output from a lower resolution.
fx 720p or 1080p that are upscaled on the fly to 4k picture & video-labels.
Fx this 4K microscope here from numerous years back for OLED-info... Analyzing different OLED panels and behavior.... it will claim 4K, but in practice, it's a 720p sensor (if I recall correctly) even though it upscales to 4K.

Ok , you got me - this piezo thingy is not a shooting chronograph sensor - but they look very similar :palm:
floobydust:
I remember those piezo-electric fans, tuning-fork resonant and 120VAC powered (50 or 60Hz versions) {must have 10k series resistor} and they looked promising back in the mid-80's. Super quiet and the Mac and other PC's were going to use them... but they were a flop. As I recall they didn't last fatigue fractures and the vanes would fall off despite 35,000hr rated lifetime. The one Dave has is likely 7CFM, 35dB@1m, 4mA or 0.11W 115VAC 60Hz and must have 10k series resistor. Look for "Piezo Electric Products" Inc.
