A true design fail.
In most cases I would prefer the pen type form factor with some velcro type holder somewhere on the body when not in use.
If it really needs to go to the wrist, more a pocket type and some band for the wrist so one could optionally stick the meter there if one really wants too.

It fully sucks. Even the display doesn't have the right orientation for a wrist-worn thingy.
