Hello guys.
I just saw the new vblog post. I am quite excited to see this.
The Turtlebot is created by Melonee Wise and Tully Foote while they were at Willow Garage.
Melonee is my wife, so, I know a good bit about the Turtlebot.
It would have been a great demo for the Mechtronics guy to show Dave visualization out of the Turtlebot. Maybe that can be for another day.
The software can be made to work for the turtlebot, but it's just a few degrees from correct at this time.
I dropped a email to the Mechtronics guy, hopefully I can help him through getting his Turtlebot going.
Also, Dave, or the Mechtronics guy, if you are ever in California, you have a open invitation to come by to see the interesting robotics here.
So, does anybody have any questions about Turtlebot? I will do my best to answer those questions.
