If you hook CCFLs to a flouroscent tube ballast, the result will be an explosion of glass from the CFL.
I won't be doing that then, perhaps no point in keeping them.

Any lamp inverter that has a sinlge wire to the lamp will drive them, or you can use the power blocks for EL wire as well.
