When I was young my dad acquired some very large Russian loudspeakers. I have no idea what make they were but they were old, large and sounded amazing.
Must've been Radiotehnika speakers ( late 1970s mid 90s ), yet there were alot of big speakers from them If they were very big they probably were the Radiotehnika S-90 if they were big ( a little smaller than S-90 ) and super heavy they were Radiotehnika S-70 ( built in amp inside thus the weight ).
You can google for images and see, note that there are three different models of the S-90.

I had a look and these were a fair bit older. Would say 60's - 70's, the grills were non removable. Very wide. Big woofer.  3 way if I remember correctly,  the mid range had a plastic back on them like a disk that was sort of marble looking reminded me of half a bowling ball.

I sold them to a friend who used them for discos!

Might be these:

They looked very similar.

Those look like some rather typical looking speakers, i was thinking of something way different  :).
I've started looking at the kind of vintage russian speakers like mine at first, i tried looking for "??????","??????" yet i couldn't find much.
Man, those russians sure knew how to party back then.  :D

I have some very good quality Samsung speakers at home and no sound quality is lost by any electronic bits between them and the mic so it entirely fasts on the quality of the scam speaker and the air between the external speaker and the mic, if you had the equipment to do so you could plug the scam speakers output into the recording device to get a direct feed of sound quality, a bit like what cool dude Clem does :--+

"very good quality Samsung speakers" - Samsung are NOT a high quality speaker manufacturer, if this is the best you have heard you are missing out on more then you know.

"no sound quality is lost by any electronic bits" - So you have an infiniate resolution ADC & DAC on your soundcard, op-amps that are 100% noise free, resistors that are noise free, and using either uncompressed WAV or FLAC over a youtube video? I think not.

"plug the scam speakers output into the recording device to get a direct feed of sound quality" - Ummm, who here knows how to plug a speaker into their input? Perhaps you ment to say to record the amplifiers output? And if so, you will have to use some noisy resistors, or some other method to drop the signal level to record it on your completely lossless perfect low level input.

every one would need to have the same speakers, same amp, same EQ levels set to get some form of a bench mark and have an understanding of microphone used, ive sent my mate recordings of various things before done with a mic and he always tells me they sound crap laptop speakers :-DD which is ofcourse what hes using to listen to the audio with.

but yeah just too hard, if you were gonna do it, youd want a spectrum spectrum analyzer and take a reading at set frequencies and various volume levels least you would have a visual interpretation, sadly those little amp ICs are hardly worth the time though.

EDIT: and youd need a sound proof room

Back to the skip argument:

Many tips are privately owned and run in the UK, they turn a profit by selling your junk for it's scrap value.
Taking stuff is directly taking their product so it's not just legally theft, you are literally hurting their profits.
