A discontinued 2 channel TDS2012C for the reduced price of $1,400 and a 5.7" LCD with only 4.6" of it for displaying waveforms.  Scary Cat , where can I get one?

I've had a TDS2024B for a decade, when I bought it (£1,800!) I thought it was the bees' knees. I also own a Rigol, and apart from bandwidth, there's absolutely no doubt between this and a DS1000Z series which one I'd choose, and I'm afraid it's the Rigol hands down.

That said, I developed plenty of stuff with the Tek including a few successful products. It's not just the tool, it's how you use it!

Thats a fair comment Howardlong. i have rigol scope and function generator, both does the job great.

For those of you who likes to mock others i bet you don,t even know what a scope is for.,bet you think its just for showing pretty patterns on a screen. :-DD
