502 - Bad Gateway from the Forums link
« on: April 20, 2016, 04:40:37 pm »
Since a couple of days before the dumpster scope giveaway, the https://www.eevblog.com/forum/ link at the top of the main page has been returning 502 - Bad Gateway.  It says that people know about it, but it's hard to tell.

https://www.eevblog.com/forum/index.php works.

I would have posted this to an Admin contact, but could not find one.

Works here.

Maybe an ISP specific issue?

Possibly, although it used to work.  I'll try it elsewhere.

Well, that's weird.  Worked on other systems, other browsers, even the same browser (Firefox) on other systems.

Turning extensions off finally showed that it was Ghostery that was the problem, which mysteriously fixed itself when Ghostery was turned back on.  Might be time to jettison that one.
