Multimeter Shootout Question/Help
«

so after enjoying the multimeter shootout episode i really like the extech and amprobe multimeters.
both seem really great but im still having a tough time deciding which one is right for me.
im a beginning electronic hobbiest and i have no idea what to look for in each meter to see which is suited for my needs as such.
so please give me your advice on the matter. i would greatly appreciate it. thanks

Like I said, it doesn't really matter, they are booth good meters for the money will make a fine hobbyist meter.
The Amprobe is cheaper, so if that counts, go for the lowest cost.

Also be careful about plugging cheap DMM into the mains. If you do it, do it cautiously.
