so, what's with the trigger offset on these scopes? it becomes extremely noticeable with higher frequency signals. at the top end of its bandwidth, there's about 1/4 of a division of time offset between the trigger point and what's on display. was this ever figured out? do the black ones have this offset too? hmmm

I noticed that on modified units. To me is not a big deal, given the p2 ns/ display capabilty.

yeah, it's not a big deal, it's just a minor annoyance, especially since this appears to be consistently 500ps (one sample point offset between trigger and display at 2Gsa/s). do the unmodified ones not exhibit this behaviour?
