Sorry, better to be politically correct for this particular application IMHO.

I for one would LOVE to have a box that has Brumby's design on it - definitely a box I would never toss. Here's an idea - how about getting stickers or something like that made up with that design to also sell? And obviously a t-shirt.

Hoping to order one of these soon as my current unit has died. Very timely.  :)

Maybe I should have worked out a deal with Dave for merchandising rights....

Oh well.

I received a PM from a member pointing out that we don't have something for the back of the box....

Any suggestions?

I have an idea for stickers to be included, although with something else on them...

I love Amazon's "Frustration free packaging" (not sure if its available outside USA though). This sounds like nice twist on that idea...

Me too. Seems everyone likes the idea, so that will be it. Plain brown cardboard box (none of that white rubbish) with a "EEVblog NO BULLSHIT Packaging" stamp.
I'll tell them to lose the annoying store hanger on the top of the box too.
I need to make stamp artwork and get a custom stamp made.

Something like this, maybe?

(Hi res unrotated available, if interested)

I am not a prude, nor do I care for political correctness, but......

You are selling to the public and trying make money. It would be in your best interest to not have the word "bullshit" on your packaging. It will possibly restrict sales. Sorry, better to be politically correct for this particular application IMHO.

I don't think Dave's target market includes the demographic you think it does.

As posted in the T&M forum, you really need to do this as well:

Don't forget to send one to Batterizer...

I understand, but if you want to sell as many items as you can then you shouldn't artificially restrict the market at the beginning. I was stating my opinion in the case of this.

If the goal is to sell only as many items as will be sold to those who won't/don't care about a word on their purchase, then that is another matter. If the goal is to do what you want and to hell with the consequences, then that is another matter again.

I hope the guys at Brymen know Dave well enough, and there are no surprises when Dave will send his request for the package, such that "well when we did say you can have everything you want on the packaging we didn't mean it literally everything..."  :-DD

Variation for something a little more politically correct, while still being reasonably obvious....

I tried picking up the blue from the holster in Dave's unboxing video - but it was just too pale for this graphic, so I've tweaked it.  Don't know if I like the colour - but that is easily changed.

I'm printing this one for the wall in the workshop, brilliant work..... :-+

Another suggestion for the back of the box could be something like "Don't open the box, take it apart".

Want the Hi-res?

What colour?  The original Hi-res is black and white, but colour changes are dead simple ... if you know the colour you want.

I'm not usually a fan of political correctness, but I do like that version.
Leave off the packaging and it's a great T-Shirt emblem too I think.

@Brumby

That would be nice, I can PM my email if the file is too big, I like the blue as above but can easily mod it as you said.
