Can we please get the explanation filled in when posts are deleted.
Deleting posts with no reason but that it "violated the rules" is annoying.

In this case its obvious why from the topic, but quite often its not and we are left hanging

To be truthful, in this case you may as well have just deleted the topic and informed the user why.

The OP was asking about how to hack a bill acceptor using RF or IR.
While it is possible he may have had good intentions, the fact that he has zero history here and provided no justification for the question made it virtually impossible to justify as legitimate.  Even if it were possible (which seems rather remote).

He was asking how to fool the reader, ie. steal money.

He has no history here and wasn't really after anything EEVBLOG related.

(Plus... I'm not sure anybody but Dave should be starting new threads under "Blog Specific").
