I've never had the 404 page as a result of a search. Searching always returns something ... although not necessarily what you were searching for!

The URL is missing from that image.  It would be nice to see exactly what was up there.

FWIW, I have never had that problem, either.

Hit enter
-> 404

e.g.

Oh, yeah.

I don't think I've ever seen that work (but it's been a long time since I tried).

'eevblog dmm' returns to me many non forums hits. site: filter out those results. YMMV.
