Yeah, I was going to say the same thing that this thread was to simply notify people to post "Great Scott " in the comments section of the Youtube video. There is already a thread for forum entries and another one for video entries.

Reading and listening comprehension would say this is where the comment belongs, since this is where the video is posted by Dave himself, and the video doesn't instruct otherwise (just says comment down below). Logic says perhaps he meant it as a comment on Youtube video itself. Intelligence says do it in both places, just to play it safe.

Odds say Dave edits the post to clarify the posting location soon.

Please help!  My errant son is sucking all the money from my bank account in the ruse of undertaking an Electronics Degree at Uni.   He's back after his 2nd term in a few weeks and Great Scott! and I know that unless I have a new oscilloscope (or similar value instrument) on his desk when he returns it will be the end of me.  Please, please help me!

I have been digging into radios, a function generator would come in so handy, and maybe I could finally impress you guys with a deeper understanding (and less boring questions haha), and something better to show off.
Sounds worth it, doesn't it?

Seriously, the big advantage of this scope is that they use well distinguishable colors, not like the waves/signals on the Rigol, which are a bit hard to differentiate when you have color vision deficiency. That would be really helpful to work efficiently.

Great Scott! That might finally be the solution.

I can't believe Dave's dumpster. I wish there was one of these magic dumpsters at my work. His must have a wormhole in the bottom of it that is tied directly to the major T&M manufacturers with a mega one that goes to Keysight.

I have never owned a Keysight scope and would really like to have one.

Maybe the OP a little bit misleading at first glance, but if you are here for a while or follow Dave's videos on yt, you should know it's just a c+p, but people just keep coming. It's somehow sad, on an EE forum people can't think.

For Dave: Perhaps it would be useful to put the first post between quotation marks, from now on?

In most people's defense (including mine  :-DD ), the OP isn't terribly clear. Besides it's likely a lot of the people who replied are not native English speakers. I can't use that excuse though...

If I don't have a new scope I will have to fix my old scope. It is an old Tek 547 that keeps my bedroom warm in the winter and hot in the summer.

I am scared to work on 500 Volt tubes. If I try I will probably electric cute myself and die. Great Scott! Help me! I don't want to die.  :'(

Also today is my birthday. :)

Great Scott! perfectly good o-scopes in the dumpster.  Perhaps retain one to do a teardown and see if there are any "issues" with them that can be addressed?  Nice one Dave.
