Wow this must be oscilloscope month. Thanks Keysight, Dave, Dumpster.

Hey Dave,
I am Yash from India, I am currently working at my first job and I would like to thank this forum community which have helped me a lot and I certainly learned a lot from you and the community. Currently I am working on a linux based handheld protocol analyser (as a personal project) which will be open sourced and it will be helpful to have an oscilloscope to make it, I had a old scope which I found for cheap few years ago but it was in bad condition and I had to let it go as I couldn't repair it. :-BROKE
And thank you Keysight.
Fingers crossed.
Regards,
Yash

Where else to contact Dave for the last category.
"One to an EEVblog member picked by Dave based on a warm-fuzzy."

That is up to Dave.
And as far as I am concerned, he does not have to declare any details about where he will look for a winner - and if you want to push him for an answer, you will have killed any warmth and fuzziness.
Further, he has said "No correspondence will be entered into" - which means he isn't going to talk about it.

Send him chocolate! ;D

That might be helpful.
Don't send him beer, though.

Chocolates and BttF gear.

Now you're getting somewhere!

Your dumpsters are much more friendly than mine!

I was about to switch to Patron when they screwed up. I've been donating by Paypal for years, will I count?

You lucky guy... :-+
I've found many nice things in dupsters, but nothing like these findings...
What kind of dumpster you must have in Australia?
-
Dave's dumpster is a special one.
It is certainly not the norm for Australia - and I think it's the only one of its kind here.
-
OK, I think I understand.
A special "dumpster" for giveaways... ;)

;)

One Comment.

Really disappointed Dave decided 'warm-fuzzy' on the basis of who had a website on electronics.
Guess my power electronics projects are worthless huh.

I think one of the most difficult things about these events, in a ideal world they would go to someone who put them to use rather than selling or collecting dust. Hopefully the fella that Dave chose will put it to good use. In the extremely unlikely even if I won say the bench bundle, I would have given away what I didn't use to hopefully people I know would use them. Of course an unlikely scenario, but it would still be a difficult choice.
Really, the chances of me getting anything is pretty much nil, so it's better for me to be happy for the lucky ones that got some nice gear rather than resentful I didn't. I get by with what I have and that's about all I can do. :)
-
Congratulations to all the winners :-+
- Better luck to everyone 'else in the future
I already own a 4 ch 100 MHz Tektronix scope, so I saw no need to enter the contest - but here's a chance for our captain to 'fin something 'down under' ;D
I am a bit old school, and found a 720k floppy in my stash
- If you're interested Dave, I can format it - and put whatever you need on it so you hopefully can get the programmer up and running again.
Let me know, the CD-ROM drive died well over 20 years ago, and the floppy isn't doing any good lying, erm laying, around up here ^-^

Thanks,
Chris

thanks for the chance. if its still going. if not congrats who won :)
-
Dave, Thanks for all you do.
