Title: KORAD KA6003P 60V, 3A DC Power Supply
Post by: wblackledg on August 29, 2013, 03:56:39 am
I picked one of these up last week.  Since then they hiked the price by $10.

I gave it a rudimentary test.  seems to fall within specs.  It was only $20 more than the 30V version that Dave tested.

thanks.

Yep, Korad can make good power supplies.  They got off to a rough start with the early youtube unit and they aren't all the way there yet but their current units can be reliable and pretty accurate.  The current single channel models can be calibrated by the user, not sure about the multi-channel units but maybe they can also be calibrated by the user.  I have a hunch Korad's next generation of products will build upon what they have learned entering the market.  Another thing going for Korad (beside the price and features) is SRA Soldering Products.  SRA is a very good distributor of their products - it's been a very positive experience doing business with SRA and they stand behind Korad's products.

Any more info about calibrating them?
