Title: Notification precated
Post by: PlainName on March 31, 2017, 08:00:43 pm
Notifications about new posts have recently (last week) take to being foreshortened by losing the 'http:' off the front of the URL. That is, instead of being 'http://www (http://www)...' they come in as '//www...'

I suspect some recent config change.

That would be collateral damage from introducing SSL: https://www.eevblog.com/forum/news/server-ssl-upgrade/ (https://www.eevblog.com/forum/news/server-ssl-upgrade/)

Ah, thanks Monkeh. Perversely, my webmail wouldn't see the proper originals as a clickable link for some reason, but it does the new broken ones!
