--- Quote from: Kiriakos-GR on June 05, 2010, 11:32:07 pm ---Dave I believe you , but the picture says a deferent story ..

For example the Fluke 87-5  looks to have an true clearance , the Gossen does not.
Or ... its just less than 1 centimeter .. if so the eyes can be fooled.

The camera is easy to fool.
There is white filler material between the bench and the window frame, so it looks like it's part of the window frame when it's not, so the stand can actually sit on the back edge of the wooden bench and not touch the window frame.

If we keep it that way, soon enough Dave will start smoking from the ears ..   ;D  ;D  ;D

If the people behind IDEAL was smart enough , they will had predict the problem ,
and fight it  with a better designed stand or soft buttons .

If they do not care ... why should we care ??   ( Simple as that )
The truth are that very few brands pays attention at those details .

Most of the times , the stand pins breaks apart from the pressure,  the permanent damaged are an fact.
I had repair my own Pros-Kit , by implanting small screws as pins ..
