Any time I modify a post with a quote, the forum software turns it into a mess. The only solution is to re-quote the post, copy the BBCode, re-modify the post and paste the copied quote over the mess. :rant:

Why is this happening?

After posting this, the text was the smallest size possible and a different font! I did NOT choose to change the size or font! What is going on?!

EDIT the post, save your edit and see what happens. That is the issue for me.

My first Reply was to establish a Control.
My second was to establish another post with much the same content. This second example was then EDITED to add the strikethrough and the line of text that followed. This was then SAVED.

By the looks of it - you are ending up with
<blockquote>
.....
</blockquote>tags instead of
<quote>
.....
</quote>ones.
Why, I don't know.

Ah. It was a settings issue. I had "Show WYSIWYG editor on post page by default." checked in my profile settings. It would seem to be buggy.
