Title: Rigol DS1052E features
Post by: xtek on October 17, 2010, 03:19:05 am
I bought a Rigol DS1052E on Dave's advise and I am very satisfied. I am comfortable with most of its features but I question the usefulness of the reference waveform and the 10 stored waveforms. I say this because they don't seem to show the vertical or horizontal deflection factors when displayed on the screen. The manual is very week in this area and perhaps I have missed something but it seems like all you get is the ability to display a single waveform at a time with no amplitude or timing info.

If you have this scope and know of a way to display info or display more than one stored wfm at a time, please let me know.

I misrepresented my Rigol in error in my posting yesterday. It does display deflection factors for both stored wfms and the reference wfm. I don't know how I came to the erroneous conclusion, but after spending some time with it this morning, I am satisfied that it works just like I thought it would in terms of displaying both the voltage and timing info of the waveforms. Sorry! As Dave said in his Blog, this is an amazing product and provides a host of features that one wouldn't expect for the price. I highly recommend it.
