Title: The Art of Electronics Blog
Post by: Rutger on April 05, 2011, 02:55:44 am
Hi, I know Dave recommended this book and I found the pre-order on Borders for the revised version coming out at the end of June 2011.
The price seems very good, and I am wondering if this is a shorter version. Here is the link:

The 2nd edition was released in 1989 so will this be the 3rd edition?    ???

Yeah, the price seems low, the abstract is odd, and it should be the third edition, not the second.

Also, the third edition of the Art has been "coming soon" for literally years. There's very little reason to think it'll be out this year. Still, I live in hope.

If you look up the ISBN number, it's listed at heaps of places at a similar price.

Amazon lists it at $100 though:

The 2nd edition had the actual hardcover book for ~$100. Then there was a cut down student manual version for about $50. Maybe some places have them confused (if they are doing a similar thing for the 3rd edition).

Think it will be a reprint of version 2. Probably a restock. Good price and an excellent read.
